Training Help & Supplies
If you are considering training your dog with the assistance of a remote, electronic training collar it is imperative that you educate yourself on how to utilize the equipment for maximum benefit with minimum stress.
The process known as “collar conditioning” teaches your dog what the sensation of e-collar stimulation means. It is a process that must be systematically taught. Even though you may have invested time and energy practicing other methods of training, your dog does not automatically understand how to respond to e-collar stimulation. Making the assumption that your dog “knows” is one of the biggest mistakes novice e-collar users encounter.
You can avoid those mistakes by starting out correctly. The best way to do that is to hire a professional to guide you. If you can not locate someone in your area or insist on “doing it yourself” Robin MacFarlane has created 2 dvd’s, Just Right Training and Just Right Volume 2 to take you through the process of collar conditioning and basic obedience in a step by step fashion.
You can order now by clicking here.
What will you learn in the Just Right DVD’s?
Just Right instructs: What features to look for in a quality e-collar, how to properly fit the collar for your dog, and how to find a level of stimulation Just Right for your dog. The instructional material takes you through the process of e-collar conditioning by teaching basic obedience skills like loose lead walking, coming when called, and “place” or stay on a mat training. This dvd will also help solve common problems like jumping up and nuisance barking.
The Just Right dvd will walk you through the steps of proper e-collar conditioning and help you have a better behaved companion.
With Just Right your dog will learn to:
★ Walk nicely on a loose lead
★ Come when called
★ Stop jumping on you and your guests
★ Be quiet when told and stop nuisance barking
★ Stay on a mat or bed when told
Just Right Volume 2 expands on the skills taught in the first dvd and help you add even more obedience to your dogs repertoire. This 2nd dvd reviews the basics of collar conditioning and then adds greater comprehension of how to handle increasing distractions and work off leash.
If you want your dog to be able to heel off leash, remain in a sit/stay or down/stay when others say hello you should order this dvd as well. Just Right Volume 2 helps build your relationship with your dog by showing you how to use this communication system with greater finesse so you can take your dog most anywhere and still have control.
Order both dvds and your dog will learn to be well behaved on or off leash. What will this do for you & your dog?
★ You can go for hikes without worrying about your dog taking off after wildlife
★ Answer the door and let guests in without the canine chaos, excited barking and frantic jumping up.
★ Visit the beach or have a picnic and feel confident that your dog will be well mannered and a joy to be around.

What NOT to do!
The biggest mistake you can make in adding this tool to your dogs training is to assume your dog understands exactly what you expect of him/her…to then go purchase a remote collar, put it on your dog and start pushing buttons when he/she is bad.
Please don’t do that. This is a great tool, but like most tools it takes knowledge to learn to use. Get help BEFORE you start pushing buttons, call us, buy the dvds, or find a trainer near you. All these resources can give you the knowledge you need to help your dog become a great dog!
