Training Help & Supplies
If you are considering training your dog with the assistance of a remote, electronic training collar it is imperative that you educate yourself on how to utilize the equipment for maximum benefit with minimum stress.
The process known as “collar conditioning” teaches your dog what the sensation of e-collar stimulation means. It is a process that must be systematically taught. Even though you may have invested time and energy practicing other methods of training, your dog does not automatically understand how to respond to e-collar stimulation. Making the assumption that your dog “knows” is one of the biggest mistakes novice e-collar users encounter.
You can avoid those mistakes by starting out correctly. The best way to do that is to hire a professional to guide you. If you can not locate someone in your area or insist on “doing it yourself” Robin MacFarlane has created 2 dvd’s, Just Right Training and Just Right Volume 2 to take you through the process of collar conditioning and basic obedience in a step by step fashion.
You can order now by clicking here.
What will you learn in the Just Right DVD’s?

The instructional material takes you through the process of e-collar conditioning by teaching basic obedience skills like loose lead walking, coming when called, and “place” or stay on a mat training. This dvd will also help solve common problems like jumping up and nuisance barking.

What NOT to do!
The biggest mistake you can make in adding this tool to your dogs training is to assume your dog understands exactly what you expect of him/her…to then go purchase a remote collar, put it on your dog and start pushing buttons when he/she is bad.
Please don’t do that. This is a great tool, but like most tools it takes knowledge to learn to use. Get help BEFORE you start pushing buttons, call us, buy the dvds, or find a trainer near you. All these resources can give you the knowledge you need to help your dog become a great dog!
